[The Elsa who clicks on the video feed looks much different from the woman who first came on board in January. True, she's still noticeably Elsa, but her smile is confident and relaxed instead of nervous, pinched, or otherwise forced.

She's also wearing a skintight suit with a belt around the waist with a prominent, potentially recognizable X on the buckle.]

This room is pretty. A little old fashioned for my tastes, [It looks like the inside of an actual castle, which is kind of cool (ha, cool) although she'd love to know where her normal clothes have run off to. Jeans are pretty great, alright?]

Hi. For anyone who doesn't know me, or remember who I am thanks to the flood, I'm Elsa Andersen. I'm a warden here, a mutant, and a member of the X-Men. Some people know me better as Icicle, or the Snow Queen.

I know this is probably pretty confusing for many of you - believe me, it's confusing for us, too - so if there's anything I - or we! - can do for you while you're here, feel free to let us know.

Anyway, [Moving right along with another smile.] Since the Admiral got rid of the ice rink, I was thinking about turning part of the deck into one, if anyone was interested. My sister Anna and I used to do it all the time at home, before I left for the institute, and it's a lot of fun, but I think the flood's done something to tone down my powers. Has anyone else noticed anything like that?

[She's kind of used to getting things her way, but she's learning to ask for them. It's progress.]

It seems not many have heard of it. But it's a big kingdom, up North.

I think I'm going to see if anyone else wants to claim it as theirs before I offer to give it to anyone else, if that's alright. What's your kingdom like?

Okay... [Pout -- followed by the hint of a smile.]

It's beautiful. It's up on the mountains and very green most of the year. But we do get plenty of snow in the winter, that's why I like ice skating.

Well-- it was beautiful. [Back to the pout.]

I don't know if they ever managed to get it back to normal.

Do you mind if I ask what happened?

I lost control.

I hurt them.

I know what that's like. A lot of people here do, actually.

But it is possible to learn control.

I know. But my mentor is gone. He's not here.

They sent him away. That's why it happened.

Do you remember what he was trying to teach you, before he was sent away?

He was trying to help me control it. He said it's in my heart, in my mind. But I don't know how.

How can you control it?

I learned I didn't have to be afraid of it, and that there were other people like me who could help.

Other people? Back in your lands?

That must be nice.

It is. I know it's not a luxury everyone has, but here at least they aren't alone.

Yeah. I miss the castle, and the people I knew there.

But this place isn't so bad, at least in that sense.

It has its good and bad points.

I have to stay here, maybe I can focus on the good for now.

Definitely. Like the ice rink that's going to be on deck.
